In his virtual talk “Policing, pandemic and the American racial divide: Understanding the current unrest” on 24 June 2020, Professor Thomas Mockaitis, DePaul University, Chicago, discussed structural racism in the US and how the pandemic has exacerbated it.
Maurice Döring, researcher at BICC and coordinator of the CoRE-NRW (Connecting Research on Extremism NRW) network, addressed the German perspective.
