The report aims to strengthen the interface between science and politics and serve as a strong evidence-based tool to support policy makers in promoting poverty eradication and sustainable development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The IGS looks at the state of the global sustainability agenda from a scientific perspective in order to address emerging issues and challenges and to formulate recommendations for action \u2013 for governments and other actors, such as business or civil society.
