It envisages the promotion and maintenance of health in all these areas through preventive measures. The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Germany is strengthening its commitment in the context of the One Health approach. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.die-gdi.de\/en\/anna-katharina-hornidge\/\">Anna-Katharina Hornidge<\/a>, Director of the German Development Institute \/ Deutsches Institut f\u00fcr Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is one of nine scientists appointed to the ministry\u2019s One Health advisory board. She is one of two representatives for Think Tanks in the committee. Other stakeholder groups represented areyouth, science, business, civil society, international organizations, foundations, and parliamentary stakeholder groups. The Steering Committee consists of 16 members, it is responsible for the strategic planning, further development and direction of the Hub. It discusses current developments, sets priorities, plans work and debate other related issues.
