From July 5 to 15 2022, the HLPF took place at the UN Headquarters in New York City. As an official part of the German delegation, SDSN Germany attended the HLPF for the entire two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the forum focused especially on SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 15 (Life on Land) und SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). In addition to the official programme, SDSN Germany attended numerous side events on topics such as gender equality, education, biodiversity, financing of the Sustainable Development Goals, sustainable recovery and international spillover effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After participating in the HLPF 2022, SDSN Germany will continue to follow the debates at the international level to link them even more closely to German and European sustainability policy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An assessment of this year\u2019s HLPF will be published at the end of August in form of a Current Column on the IDOS website<\/a> and a blog post on sdsngermany.de<\/a>.
